Stock Market Advance Faces Stiff Challenge from Janet Yellen Later Today
Stocks were indicating a sharply higher start for Wednesday, which marks the close of September and the calendar quarter. However, an afternoon address by Fed Chair Yellen threatens to remind us of one of our greatest stumbling blocks. I look for equities to possibly lose some of their apparent confidence as we approach the close of the day and anticipate further worrisome issues to follow.
