I am a right leaning Independent who voted for Obama ....... McCain is too old .... does not have the
intellectual capacity to grasp the world. He uses
the word ""fight"" in practically every sentence ... and
it is not an option anymore. Palin did it for me ....
an insult to my intelligence. I am a 65 white retired female and am shocked at what has happened to this country.

Well, in the end, I pulled the lever for McCain. I couldn't have Peloi and Reid dictating to their boy Obama was legislation he needed to sign off on for their vision of what America should be.

I still say McCain should have voted NO for the Bank Bail-Out package, it was the right thing to do, and it would have shown his fiscallyu conservative base that he would guard taxpayer interests during his term in office

i voted for the lesser of two out of touch senators--mccain. neither man has a clue about protecting the financial freedoms of this country. neither man referred to the constitution and the freedoms and rights contained that must be implemented to protect the individual.

Voted Obama. If I recall, the last time the economy, or the country for that matter, was in good shape was during the Clinton administration. The republicans seem to talk fiscal restraint, small government, etc., but once they're in, it all changes. Also, McCain spent 75% of his campaign time telling us how horrible Obama was, but not telling us anything about his policies. Plus, the idiotic choice of Palin - what were they thinking? Take away her looks, and there's nothing left, except for $150k in clothes.

Hi Grek!
I voted for Obama.
My wife voted for Obama
My two daughters and my son in law who lives in Baltimore, all voted for Obama.

I hope that the wind of changes will come not later than Wednesday.
The nightmare of Condolezza, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Greenspan, GW Bush and associated must end. The reconstruction of the country economy an order must start and not stop at least for the next fifty years.

It is time for CHANGES!

I voted for the "Green Party" candidate. I live in California and my vote won't hurt Obama. We badly need to breakout of this two party farce and have some third partys that have a chance of winning one day. I'm tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. Although, if Obama wins, it will be a big improvement. Lets hope he takes a lot of democratic congressional candidates along with him. We can't afford a third Bush term with Mc Cain.

We need a strong leader not just a well spoken figure-head. McCain/Palin also align more closely to my religious values. I do not believe Obama is a Christian as described in the N.T. He has ideas that relate closer to Hitler and other non-democratic groups.

McCain is to old but if he had picked almost anyone but Sarah Palin I would have voted for him. The thought of Palin at the controls scared the hell out of me. Joe Lieberman who is almost constantly with him on the campaign trail and would have been a v.p. choice that would have gotten my vote. I voted for Obama.
